James M. Gault and his wife, Armonia currently live in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. "Jim Gault," is currently in a battle for his life. His prostate cancer has returned and metastasized. This meet is being held to honor all the years of dedicated service he has given to gymnastics and USAG.
The MEGA owners, Mark and Joanne Goodson (who started her own gymnastics career under his tutelage) as well as the young gymnasts he has coached in the most recent season and their parents wanted to find a way to help him in his fight.
